EBay quarterly net up 40 pct (Washington Post)
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - EBay Inc. , the world's largest online auction site, on Wednesday posted a 40 percent rise in quarterly net profit fueled by solid growth in U.S. and German auctions and expansion of its payment business.
